On Sunday 12/17/23 evening patient experience nausea, achey chills, and a very sore arm to the touch. patient took ibuprofen that evening to combat symptoms. On Monday 12/18/23 at approx. 12pm noon patient experienced sharp pain in sternum, nausea, rushing of heat around face and neck. felt tingly/facial flushing. within 2 minutes bright pink all over face and a little onto neck area. patient took cetirizine chewable. .. immediately took shower thereafter

Symptomtext

Patient was seen at for a same day appointment at healthcare facility on 02 November 2023 with a complaint of back pain. He was evaluated and treated; the patient also wanted a COVID-19 2023-2024 Formula vaccine. The vaccine was administered. The patient left the office without incident. Patient?s daughter called the vaccinating providers office on 06 November 2023 to report her father (the vaccine recipient) was vaccinated on 02 November 2023. He went to the Emergency Department on 03 November 2023 with a compliant of chest pain & shortness of breath. The Emergency Department evaluated and treated the patient and discharged him to home.

Symptomtext

Rec'd vaccine w/o difficulty. 15 min. observation w/o c/o pain or discomfort. Resident reports that on the evening of 11/30/23 on for the following 7 nights she was unable to sleep due to onset of developing stabbing injection site pain which lasted until 12/07/23 when it resolved itself without any treatment at home or via a healthcare professional. Case reports having "many COVID vaccines and nothing every hurt like this." Resident continues to explain, "The pain then went all around that part of my arm and into my back where it would seem to stay." Resident then explained that during the daytime there was a significant decrease in pain. Resident reports that she has slept in a recliner chair for years. Resident also reports significant hardening of the injection site area. She lives alone and is unable to see if the arm became red, or swollen. the pain then further described as an achy pain that left her sleepless for 8 days. "no, position change did not change the pain." "I had to get up and walk around to distract myself from the pain No futher information provided.

Pt rec'd Spikevax and FluzoneHD in RT arm. Arm became inflamed and hot the next day and continued to increase in size. Pt was advised to seek medical attention. Spikevax was administered below the FluzoneHD. The area of inflammation was in the lower area.
