Patient said she recieved Spikevax on 12/13/2023 at pharmacy and developed hives all over her trunk, legs, and arms on 12/14/23. She has had no other reactions to any vaccines, but this is the first Moderna vaccine she has had. She has sought medical care and is in stable condition.

Symptomtext

Intense pain at the medial portion of the right knee joint, as if someone took a hammer to it. No pain in this location prior to getting the vaccine. Unable to bend knee, and only walking to the bathroom with crutches. No treatment, other than OTC anti-inflammatories which are not doing any good. So far, this has lasted for two and a half days, since getting the vaccine, with no signs of subsiding, yet.

Swollen upper lip; This spontaneous case was reported by a patient and describes the occurrence of LIP SWELLING (Swollen upper lip) in a 78-year-old female patient who received mRNA-1273.815 (SPIKEVAX 2023-2024) (batch no. AU39218) for COVID-19 prophylaxis. No Medical History information was reported. On 07-Nov-2023, the patient received dose of mRNA-1273.815 (SPIKEVAX 2023-2024) (Intramuscular use) .5 milliliter. In November 2023, the patient experienced LIP SWELLING (Swollen upper lip). At the time of the report, LIP SWELLING (Swollen upper lip) outcome was unknown. For mRNA-1273.815 (SPIKEVAX 2023-2024) (Intramuscular use), the reporter did not provide any causality assessments. Concomitant product use was not provided by the reporter.
