Got the second vaccination, I was feeling way worse/lousiness; My blood sugar have been spiking; Nauseous; Feeling like I may have a fever; Dizzy/Light-headed; Swelling and feeling crampy like really crazy; Swelling and feeling crampy like really crazy; Had a cough and it was light but it seems to be progressively worse; Have not been feeling good/ Started feeling the same way that I did the first time; I am barely eating anything; I feel achy everywhere; Symptoms are getting worse instead of getting better; My weight now keeps going up which is strange; They couldn't get any blood because I was dehydrated, I am always dehydrated; fatigue/tired; This is a spontaneous report from a contactable Consumer or other non-HCP (patient reported for herself). A 48-year-old female patient received bnt162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE, formulation: Solution for injection, Lot Number: EWU17J), dose 2 via an unspecified route of administration, administered in Arm Left on 28Apr2021 (at the age of 48-year-old) as DOSE 2, SINGLE for covid-19 immunisation. Medical history included heart condition, type 1 diabetes (she believe 16 years old when she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and take two types of insulin), Acid reflux, ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), UTI (Urinary tract infection), and smoker. Family history included her mother tested positive for Covid. Concomitant medication(s) included Insulin taken for an unspecified indication, start and stop date were not reported; Omeprazole (PROTONIX [OMEPRAZOLE]) taken for an unspecified indication, start and stop date were not reported; Furosemide taken for an unspecified indication, start and stop date were not reported; amfetamine aspartate, amfetamine sulfate, dexamfetamine saccharate, dexamfetamine sulfate (ADDERALL) taken for an unspecified indication, start and stop date were not reported and Tetracycline for urinary tract infection start and stop date were not reported. The patient previously received her first dose of bnt162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE, formulation: Solution for injection, Lot Number: ER8733), via an unspecified route of administration, administered in Arm Left on 31Mar2021, as single for covid-19 immunisation. On an unspecified date in 2021, the patient experienced feeling way worse/lousiness after the second vaccination, blood sugar have been spiking, Nauseous, Feeling like may have a fever, Dizzy/Light-headed, Swelling and feeling crampy like really crazy, a cough and it was light but it seems to be progressively worse, have not been feeling good/ Started feeling the same way that she did the first time, barely eating anything, achy everywhere, Symptoms are getting worse instead of getting better, weight now keeps going up which is strange, I was dehydrated, I am always dehydrated and fatigue. The clinical details of the events included: Consumer stated, she was calling because she was not feeling well and she has some underlying issues (history). She just got the second COVID vaccination shot last Wednesday, and she had underlying issues like she is a diabetic and also a heart patient (clarified as history). She was on antibiotic for UTI infection when she received the first vaccination, so she was on Tetracycline at that time and she does think, she still had the UTI infection going on. So, she was already not feeling very well when she got the first vaccination but then she felt better, she was feeling better and was told to go ahead for the vaccination. When received the first one, she was feeling little lousy like she did not know maybe an hour later just felt like type of little weird, but it was not a big deal but maybe it was from the vaccination. So, she just went home and felt better and was tired after that the usual pain that was sore arm and all that, but it was not a big deal. Last Wednesday, when she got the second vaccination, she was feeling way worse and no longer on antibiotic, she was actually off of it (Tetracycline) before she went for the second vaccination and then after that her blood sugar have been spiking and had been feeling nauseous and feeling like she may have a fever but did not have a thermometer so she could not check. Consumer further stated, she was going to call to her nurse and doctor tomorrow to take some help. She felt very dizzy, light-headed, nauseous, tired as well as swelling and feeling crampy like really crazy. Also, developed a cough now and she is the smoker so that was not necessarily good things but the symptoms she got, they basically started like yesterday and symptoms were getting worse instead of getting better and this was how she was feeling. She had a cough, and it was light, but it seems to be progressively worse today and she just concerned because it should be starting to get better and go away rather than worsening. She had not been feeling good. Consumer stated all these started right after the shot actually like the lousiness and fatigue that started after the shot, and it got little bit better after first shot and it came back after the second shot and increased immensely. Actually, the lousiness stated after couple of hours later, but the rest of the symptoms started the next day or the day after like couple of days later. So, after the first shot started the side effects, and they were like worse after couple of days later and with the second one it was like the same thing. (Not clarified further). Consumer further stated the same thing had happened immediately with the first one and was there for quite a while and went to shopping, so it was probably like an hour and half but before she felt that weird, crazy and lightheaded feeling that was not until hours or two hours later and same thing happened in the second time, she was like one minute and was doing her shopping and everything and after that she started feeling the same way that she did the first time. But she was upset that it was just from the vaccination whatever she got the first time like all the usual side effects listed but this does not feel usual like her sugar spiking and was barely eating anything and was nauseous. She felt like I have a fever and feeling crampy, feel achy everywhere and the cough probably to the most. Consumer stated that weight now keeps going up which was strange, and she would say it is about probably 138 pounds. She stated that she had two COVID tests and she took one in Mar, and they tried to give me one for her UTI infection, but they could not get any blood because she was dehydrated, she always dehydrated. (Not clarified further). Also, even though her mother tested positive for Covid, but she tested negative (further clarification unknown). Consumer further stated, she did not want to report it because it is helping more people to do share what is going through otherwise how we would know. She was keen to report but she did not do anything until this time and then she was waiting for the things to go away before she reported anything that was how is going on. She stated that still experiencing events they were much worse (event not appropriately paraphrased and clarified further, hence ongoing not checked for events). There was no Investigation assessment provided. Treatment: consumer stated no treatment received, she had not done anything yet because she was expecting it go away and instead it was getting worse. She did not have that much after the first one but from the second on everyday it was getting worse. The patient outcome of the events was not resolved at the time of this report. No follow-up attempts are needed. No further information is expected.
