bad panic attacks; Chest pain; has been having trouble with shortness of breath; has come down with anxiety; even when she is sleeping she gets like that when she is sleeping; feels awful; fluttering; heart pounding/she is having come and go palpitation; This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable reporter (Consumer or other non HCP). The reporter is the parent. A 15 year-old female patient received bnt162b2 (BNT162B2), administered in arm right, administration date 14Jan2022 (Lot number: FJ16U) at the age of 15 years as dose 2, 0.3 mL single for covid-19 immunisation. The patient had no relevant medical history. There were no concomitant medications. Vaccination history included: Bnt162b2 (Pfizer BioNTech purple cap for adults, Covid-19 vaccine, First Dose, LOT: FF2593, NDC, EXP: Unknown, Route, Anatomical Location: Caller states her daughter is left handed and is assuming she got it in her right arm. She is 80 percent sure it was in her right arm., Caller states for the first dose, they were supposed to wait for like 1 minutes. Around the 1 minutes, her daughter felt pounding and palpitations. At that time, it only lasted about 12 minutes and went away.), administration date: 10Dec2021, when the patient was 15 years old, for COVID-19 immunization, reaction(s): "pounding", "palpitations". The following information was reported: CARDIAC FLUTTER (medically significant) with onset 14Jan2022, outcome "not recovered", described as "fluttering"; PALPITATIONS (medically significant) with onset 14Jan2022, outcome "not recovered", described as "heart pounding/she is having come and go palpitation"; PANIC ATTACK (medically significant), outcome "not recovered", described as "bad panic attacks"; CHEST PAIN (non-serious), outcome "not recovered", described as "Chest pain"; DYSPNOEA (non-serious), outcome "not recovered", described as "has been having trouble with shortness of breath"; ANXIETY (non-serious), outcome "not recovered", described as "has come down with anxiety"; INSOMNIA (non-serious), outcome "not recovered", described as "even when she is sleeping she gets like that when she is sleeping"; FEELING ABNORMAL (non-serious), outcome "not recovered", described as "feels awful". The events "fluttering", "heart pounding/she is having come and go palpitation" were evaluated at the physician office visit and emergency room visit. The events "bad panic attacks", "chest pain", "has been having trouble with shortness of breath", "has come down with anxiety", "even when she is sleeping she gets like that when she is sleeping" and "feels awful" were evaluated at the emergency room visit. The patient underwent the following laboratory tests and procedures: blood test: unknown results; electrocardiogram: normal; unknown results; sars-cov-2 test: negative. Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of cardiac flutter, palpitations, panic attack, chest pain, dyspnoea, anxiety, insomnia, feeling abnormal. Event description Caller states that every night, especially at night, because of the fluttering, pounding and palpitations, her daughter has come down with anxiety and bad panic attacks. It is breaking her into pieces and they don't seem to know what is wrong. Follow up has been requested.
