Symptomtext

Yellow Fever vaccine given SQ in left arm. Almost immediately patient began C/O itching at site. Area became red and began to swell. Patient began C/O thickness in her throat. Benadryl given. HR and BP elevated. Patient C/O itching/tingling in mouth and throat. Skin pale and clammy. Unable to get pulse ox reading. Patient visibly anxious. Consented to receiving epipen injection. Escorted by EMS to ambulance to the ER.
