Adacel was administered to a 5 year old patient by mistake, with no reported adverse event; Initial information received on 06-Jun-2023 regarding an unsolicited valid non-serious case received from a other health professional. This case involves a 5 years old female patient who had adacel was administered to a 5 year old patient by mistake, with no reported adverse event after receiving vaccine diphtheria-2/tetanus/5 ac pertussis vaccine [adacel]. The patient's past medical history, medical treatment(s), and family history were not provided. No concomitant vaccines were given. On 02-Jun-2023, the patient received a 0.5 ml once of suspect diphtheria-2/tetanus/5 ac pertussis vaccine Suspension for injection, unknown strength, expiration date, lot U47461AA via intramuscular route in unknown administration site for Immunization. On 02-Jun-2023 the patient developed a non-serious adacel was administered to a 5 year old patient by mistake, with no reported adverse event (product administered to patient of inappropriate age) (latency: same day).
