Urticaria

Symptomtext

Hives started the next day after receiving vaccine. Mom sent a message with pictures, nurse attempted to call mom back and left a voicemail. Day 2 (Saturday) mom states she took patient to urgent care the day before and was diagnosed with hives, placed on Zyrtec and prednisone. Day 4 (Monday) patient was bought into clinic diagnosed with erythema multiforme and placed on additional steroids. Also notified to take Zyrtec in the am and Benadryl in pm for as needed for itching.

Symptomtext

Approximately 33 hours after immunizations infant was inconsolable for 7 hours (8pm-3AM) Patient did not have fever. Patient did not receive Tylenol at time of her inconsolability.
