Symptomtext

Swelling in left arm to the elbow the evening after administration. Went back to see if they mistakenly gave me thimerosol in the vaccine. Pain continued with limiting motion shoulder interfering with ADLs and sleep. Constant ache in shoulder with sharp pain through shoulder down to scapula eventually with certain movements. Primary care thought should improve in 60 days. Endocrinologist recommended ice to be applied. No relief. Finally went to Orthopedic surgeon. She ordered x-rays and MRI. Gave cortisone shot into shoulder. Ordered 6-8 weeks of PT. Currently in PT.

pt received vaccine in September and has been having arm pain from injection site to the elbow since then. She came to pharmacy 1-14-21 to let us know. She reports that her arm hurts to move up and down and to lay on it.
