Developed hives and itching approximately 24 hours after Flu Vaccine 10/27/2020: Given Flu vaccine at place of work by employee Health 10/28/2020: Developed hives and itching on lower extremities 11/1/2020: Went to an Urgent care "rash, possibly flu shot reaction" given Prednisone 40 mg x 3 days Benedryl, Claritin 11/3/2020: No improvement, D/C Claritin and begin Zyrtec TID, Prednisone not helping 11/5/2020: Rash now painful, burning, and spreading. Given Prednisone 80 mg with taper. 11/9/2020: No improvement, referred to Dermatology 11/10/2020: Seen by Dermatology, MD, labs performed, punch biopsy of Rt calf lesion 12/2/20 Started on Dexamethasone Taper 128/20 To begin Dapsone 25 mg daily when above steroid complete
