Symptomtext
Infant patient received an IM dose of Prevnar 13 and Pentacel on 02/09/2022. Several hours later he developed a fever of 103.5. A fever of >102 persisted for 4 days until 02/13/2022. Notably, he had no viral symptoms of any kind (ie. no cough, runny nose, or congestion) during the entire period of the fever. He fed well and had ample urinary output. On the day that the fever resolved he developed a blanching erythematous rash on his torso, limbs and face. His mother states that his skin is extremely sensitive to foods and she had given him Motrin suspension containing orange dye prior to the onset of the rash.
