Symptomtext

Approximately 4 hours after receiving the vaccines pt. projectile vomited. Then she started to look really pale and started breathing really shallowly. Her lips turned blue so mother gave her a couple of rescue breaths. She would cry for a little bit then go unresponsive. Mother would then give her a few more rescue breaths and this happened a few times. Mother then called our office and since we couldn't get her in right away instructed her to go to the emergency room. Mother opted to take her to urgent care. Urgent care monitored her for a little while but couldn't tell family if this was a reaction to the vaccine or may just to vomiting. They sent her home to be observed carefully. Since then she has not had any further problems/adverse effects.
