Symptomtext

Patient had a seizure which brought her into the hospital and required intubation following inability to protect her airway. She was resumed on her Keppra, after being seen by Neurology and having an EEG. The seizures were due to an aneurysm that she had coiled years ago. She was also noted to have an elevation in her troponin. She was found to have an echo with an EF of about 40%. She had a Left heart cath which showed no evidence of CAD. While here she was treated for pneumonia which cleared up quickly after 7 days of treatment. She was discharged on the new medications of Keppra, Coreg, ASA, Lasix and her losartan was changed to 25 mg po every day. Hospital admission within 6 weeks of receiving the COVID vaccine.

Symptomtext

The patient shopped for an hour and a half after receiving the vaccine. She then fainted in the store. She hadn't had anything to eat or drink that day. She was slurring her speech and agreed to allow the ambulance to take her to the hospital.

Symptomtext

Patient complained of sharp chest pain, she took some tums and it turned to a dull ache. Patient's blood pressure was slightly elevated for her at 133/88. After about 5- 10 minutes her chest pained turned to a tightness, then she started to feel better.

no issues immediately following vaccinations, next morning wokeup with redness at injection site and down arm to about her elbow, black and blue at injection site. was red and warm to the touch but not painful. patient iced arm and took tylenol, by the following morning (monday) the swelling went down alot but the black and blue spot at injection site remained
