Symptomtext

Approximately 5 minutes after receiving both vaccinations patient had what father, an MD, described as focal seizure. Patient went rigid and lost consciousness briefly.

Fall Feeling hot Hyperhidrosis Loss of consciousness Seizure like phenomena

Symptomtext

I first gave the flu shot and then the covid shot in the same arm, at an acceptable distance apart. After the second vaccine she passed out of the chair and fell forward onto the floor. She had some seizure-like movements but woke up in less than 30 seconds. Patient states she has no personal or family history of seizures. We let the patient slowly sit up on the floor and then eventually move to the chair while she waited for a family member to come pick her up. She stated she felt fine other than hot and sweaty. Pharmacists recommended she speak to her primary care provider about this incident to see if they would like her to have any follow-up testing. I called the patient later that evening to see how she was doing and she said good. She said she spoke to her primary care provider, and Doctor does not see a need for any follow up testing.

pt fainted. pt was standing and dropped to the floor via his mother's lap-mom states he didn't hit is head. after regaining consciousness pt was very pale and was yawning frequently. He did state that his face hurt but after drinking water he said it felt better. A cold pack was applied to the patient's wrist and he briefly lied on the floor with elevated feet to bring blood flow back to his head. swelling with hives, started next day after the shot. Seen 11/11/2021 in the office giver orapred for four days. Follow up next day hives resolved and swelling of left thigh decreased.

pt came in for a flu shot but was accidently given a third covid vaccine . he is almost due for a booster. he got his first covid moderna vaccine on 04/05/21 , second one on 05/05/21 and got a pfeizer vaccine today 10/26/21. pt felt fine and was happy that he got his third dose, he also said that he still wants the flu shot so we gave him a flu shot as well. when asked if we should report this to his primary, he said he did not have a primary doctor.
