Member here with left hand pain and numbness. Member received Flu vaccination on 12/11/23 at 1030 am. Seen by PCP , with orders for medication, Per Dr.'s orders Tylenol 500 mg PO given at 1: 27 pm. Member complains of radiating pain from left elbow to up neck, pain is sharp. Below elbow pain in on and off like electricity passing. member is in tears. Seen by PCP. Member declines Toradol IM. Complains her left hand is shaking. Notified PCP. 2:28 PM- Member feels sleepy for Tylenol, pain scale 4/10, below left elbow is still numb. Seen by PCP, advised discharge home, if condition worsens to go to any AUC. 2:50 pm- Member declines Ibuprofen. Notified PCP. Seen by PCP, AVS and VOT given. D/C home ambulating.Plenty of hydration Use warm compresses to the left arm injection site Take ibuprofen 600 mg p.o. Q 8 hours with food as needed for pain and swelling Keep arm elevated on a pillow while sleeping Dr. If the pain swelling numbness give was return to urgent care
